Khairat Ishola
Khairat Ishola (she/her) has a deep passion for public health, international development, food security and gender equity. She aims to bring empathy and strategic insight into every project, ensuring that her work is both impactful and inclusive. Khairat excels in utilizing comprehensive research, data analysis, and strategic planning to craft solutions that address the unique challenges faced by the communities and organizations she serves.
Khairat has actively engaged in a range of initiatives that reflect her deep commitment to driving social impact. Her consulting work with the Uganda Village Project has been particularly impactful, where she played a key role in improving healthcare outcomes for women affected by obstetric fistula. Additionally, Khairat has gained valuable experience in monitoring and evaluation through her work with the Resilience, Sustainable Energy, and Marine Biodiversity Program in the Cayman Islands, where she contributed to developing a sustainability framework for climate change initiatives on a university campus.
Khairat holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration in Non-Profit Policy and Management, specializing in International Development from New York University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario. In her free time Khairat enjoys reading, watching new movies, cooking with friends and exploring new cities.
